David Flores MBA, HCM


With over 13 years of experience in healthcare, leadership, and change management, David joined the Rheumatic Disease Clinic of Houston in Dec. of 2014.  Mr. Flores past experience include running multiple dialysis centers and a hospital.  In his free time, he performs with the Fort Bend Symphony Orchestra.  He holds a Master’s degree in both Business and Healthcare Management as well as a Bachelor in Chemistry.  He is a member of the College of Healthcare Executives, has served on the Board of Directors for the Hispanic Health Coalition of Houston, and is currently active in multiple non-profit volunteer organizations.

Jorge Trejo

Office Manager

Jorge is the Office Manager for Rheumatic Disease Clinic.  Jorge is responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of the office, including staff management, facilities management, and communication with the Office Administrator and providers.  He is responsible for providing leadership for the office, and acting as liaison between the office and the providers.

Jorge joined the clinic in 2006 as a Medical Assistant.  Through the years, he has had great opportunities to expand his knowledge, and as a result, assumed the role of Office Manager.

Prior to joining Rheumatic Disease Clinic, Jorge worked as an Optician in the Los Angeles area.  He made the transition to Texas in 2004 to pursue a career in healthcare.

Alzena McNeil

Scheduling Supervisor

Alzena joined the Rheumatic Disease Clinic in July 2011. Prior to joining the Rheumatic Disease Clinic, Alzena was employed at the NASA Johnson Space Center for over 30 years until retirement of the Space Shuttle Program.  Her experience in the aerospace industry has given her the expertise in process improvement, quality control, organizational management, and superior customer service skills.  These qualities play a vital role in greatly enhancing our complex appointment scheduling process.

“In my front office position, I get a great deal of personal satisfaction interacting with our patients during the scheduling process.  My passion is to ensure patients are treated with dignity and respect, and receive quality services before, during and after their office visit.”

Yliana Izaguirre, PA-C

Physician Assistant

Ms. Yliana Izaguirre is a recent addition to the Rheumatic Disease Clinic. She graduated from the University of Texas at Austin where she earned her Bachelor’s degree. She then went on to obtain her Physician Assistant degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. She has experience working with patients of diverse backgrounds. Ms. Izaguirre has led health fairs for the local community where she reached out to those in dire need of preventive and primary care. She has a passion for research and a special interest in Rheumatology and autoimmune diseases. She strives to get to know each and every one of her patients. Her primary goal is to educate the patient while working collaboratively with them to develop a treatment plan to fit their needs. Ms. Izaguirre is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. She is Board Certified and licensed by the State of Texas. When not treating patients, Ms. Izaguirre enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, reading, cooking and learning about new cultures.

Celeste Wyatt, LVN

Nurse Manager

Nurse Celeste joined Rheumatic Disease Clinic of Houston (RDCH) in 1988. Back then, RDCH was known as Health Associates of Houston. She attended Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas where she received her nursing degree. She has served in several clinical capacities in different areas at RDCH, including infusion and special ancillary procedures. She currently serves part of her time in an administrative capacity managing payroll and other operational duties. Nurse Celeste believes her true calling is serving others in and out of the clinic. She is also very active in the community serving the sick and homeless through the Women’s Ministry at Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church in Sandy Point, TX.

Kevin Hale, PA-C

Physician Assistant

Kevin Hale, MPAS, PAC is a recent asset to the Rheumatic Disease Clinic. He graduated from Howard Payne University, where he obtained both his Bachelor’s degree in Biology and an Athletic Training License. He then went on to obtain his Physician Assistant degree from the University of North Texas – Health Science Center.

He is experienced in treating patients of diverse backgrounds and with multiple health conditions. While in training, Mr. Hale spent his time volunteering for local health fairs for the surrounding community. He also enjoyed his time as a tutor to underclassmen physician assistant students. He has been working in Rheumatology since graduating. He has a passion for education and a special interest in Rheumatology and autoimmune diseases.

True all of the providers here, Mr. Hale strives to establish a personal and collaborative relationship with every patient. His primary goal is to improve patient health, education, and satisfaction.

Mr. Hale is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants. He is Board Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and licensed by the State of Texas.

When not treating patients, Mr. Hale enjoys being with family and friends, learning new things about science and technology, spending time outdoors, and watching football.
